Updating Fusion 360
When updating a linked component in Fusion, it may appear to use the latest version, but is still referencing an old version and changes are not seen. 1st Solution: Open the Linked Child Component's original file. Go to the Modify Menu. Select Compute All. Save the Child Component file. Go back to the main file with the linked components, and select Get All Latest. The model should now reflect. When updating from a previous version, you can download from the column named 'Update Download'. This download only includes the files which have been changed from the previous version. These are the only files which need updating. This column can only be used if coming from a previous version in chronological order, for example 1.0.5 > 1.0.6.
