FAST.com speed test gives you an estimate of your current Internet speed. You will generally be able to get this speed from leading Internet services, which use globally distributed servers.

Visit speedtest.shaw.ca using the device you will use to test your speeds. The speed test should default to a location nearest to you. If you feel that the default location is incorrect, you can choose from a selection of servers in your country. Whenever you are ready, click or tap on “Go.”. Shaw Speed test will automatically choose a server close to your location that has the fastest response time (ping), thus providing the best performance. This is the server that is 'closest' on the network, and usually provides the most accurate results.
