Before you install a plugin or extension, make sure that you have installed the Creative Cloud app to which you are adding it. For example, if you are installing an extension for Photoshop, install Photoshop. You can share libraries with collaborators using the Creative Cloud website, Creative Cloud desktop and mobile apps, and Creative Cloud desktop app. For a list of Creative Cloud apps currently supporting libraries, see Creative Cloud Libraries.
Best practices for Creative Cloud deployment on VDI
Adobe has collaborated with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Teradici, and NVIDIA to provide best practices for Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise customers who deploy on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (“VDI”) on remote cloud environments.
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects, including Adobe Media Encoder and After Effects Render Engine are constantly being tested by Adobe in cooperation with each cloud vendor, enabling technology partners, third-party plug-in developers, and hardware peripheral providers. These Best Practices Guides will be regularly updated as VDI technology advances.

The detailed deployment methodologies, virtual machine sizing, storage, and hardware device compatibility issues and if followed can provide agility and scalability in scenarios supported by each cloud vendor and Adobe are included.
Currently, Adobe recommends Teradici’s Cloud Access Software using PC-over-IP (PCoIP) protocol to deliver the best user experience. Teradici supports advanced display compression to deliver a secure, high-definition and up to 4K/60fps with highly responsively virtual experience similar to a local computer. This solution is supported on Windows, macOS, and zero client devices with full support of multi-monitor and hardware peripherals such as select Wacom tablets.
